LEARNING OUTCOME OF DISTANCE EDUCATION WILL BE MEASURED

"Ministry of National Education will activate "Online Outcome Assessment Application" in order to determine learning abilities of secondary and high school students during the distance education process".

The Directorate General for Measurement, Assessment and Examination Services affiliated to the Ministry of National Education has sent a memo to regional directorates of national education pointing out that the Ministry has carried out the distance education process as a part of measures during the fight against new type of coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic. Within this framework, the Ministry has decided to make an assessment about learning abilities achieved through distance education. "Online Outcome Assessment Application" will be activated all over the country between July 1 and 7 by using a newly developed software.
 
The application will cover students studying in 5th, 6th, 7th grades of state and private secondary schools and Imam Hatip secondary schools and 9th, 10th and 11th grades of high schools. Students will enter online tests prepared for their grades by using their own computers, tablets and cell phones. 5th grade students will enter the test on July 1, 9th grade students will enter the test on July 2, 6th grade students will enter the test on July 3, 11th grade students will enter the test on July 4, 7th grade students will enter the test on July 6, 10th grade students will enter the test on July 7 between 08.00-23.59 by clicking "arastirma.meb.gov.tr" web address. Duration of all tests for all grades will be 40 minutes and each test will include 20 questions. It will be possible to view wrong and unanswered questions at the end of the test. Results of this test will be not be used as grades in report cards.
 
Every student will enter test of a lesson randomly assigned by the system 
Secondary school students will enter one of the Turkish, math, science, social sciences, religion, culture and moral knowledge and English tests while high school students will enter one of the Turkish language and literature, math, history, geography, physics, chemistry, biology and English tests. Every student will enter the test of a lesson randomly assigned by the system.
